Match Schedule

We schedule three matches each month and, if the weather is good, we may occasionally have an extra match.  Our regular match schedule is the first Friday and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.

All shooters are expected to arrive at our matches by 9:00 AM unless otherwise specified in the match announcement.  We have one hour to set up, kit up, and conduct the safety briefing. We start the match at 10 AM sharp. If there is time (generally at our Friday matches), we give the shooters an opportunity to shoot the match twice.

All shooters are expected to arrive on time, help set up the match, take it down afterwards, and pick up brass before departing.

The match fee is normally $10 for members of Anne Arundel Fish and Game Association, $15 for non-members, and $5 for a second match following a regular match. Match fees are payable in cash only.

We send an announcement by email 7 to 10 days before each match to everyone in the AAFGIDPA Announcement Group. You must subscribe to the AAFGIDPA Announcement Group to receive announcements of upcoming matches and get email notifications of match results. Registering for Matches

Register for an AAFG IDPA match by replying to the email announcement.  We require advance registration because our range will accommodate a limited number of shooters (generally 24-30, depending on the Course of Fire) within the time we have available.   Registration is on a first come, first served basis. We publish a squad list by email a few days before the match.

If you register for a match and later find that you cannot attend, please withdraw from the match by sending an email to the AAFGIDPA Announcement Group.
